Put Down The Razor!
We’re not often “cause” guys. I mean, there are definitely things we believe in, & folks we support, but going all out & organizing? Not too often.
November is different. November is Movember/No Shave November, a month when guys put down the razor and revel in the glory of their facial hair. While Movember & No-Shave November are actually two different organizations, they both have the same cause in mind - supporting men’s health awareness. This year we’ve decided to go all in with our support for No Shave November. We have a bunch of cool, fun things lined up and hope that you’re there with us.
- We’ve set up a Burly Stone Crew team page over at no-shave.org – we hope folks join (it’s a $10 donation) our team. We’ll be making a downloadable flyer available for you to post at work, to help spread awareness & get others to donate. They can give the cash to you, then you donate to the cause. At the end of the month, the person who donated the most money will receive an awesome Burly Stone themed gift pack.
- For the month of November, we’ll be donating 10% of all Beard Elixir sales. If you have some bearded brethren, or a loved one who sports some chin whiskers, encourage them not to shave, and get them some Beard Elixir to encourage them – it’s a win/win.
- We’re working on the details for a month long contest. It’s strictly for fun, but we’ll be offering some great prizes for those who enter. We’ll unveil all the details next week.
There you have it folks. A bunch of month long events, all focused on helping a great cause. We’re really psyched about this, and hope you are too. So put down the razor, step away from the shave cream, and get involved!
